2014 Forum For Industrial Engineering Postgraduate and Scholars

On November 29, 2014, Dr. Y.M. Wong, our Group Technical Director was invited to give a talk in the University of Hong Kong to 100 plus scholars, academia, industrialists, and industrial engineers appearing in the 2014 Industrial Engineering Annual Forumorganized by the HKU Industrial Engineering Postgraduate and Scholars Association. The topic that Dr. Wong talked on was ‘Automation in Warehouse and Logistics Applications’; and he shared five success cases on applying automation to BPS clients like HSBC, Bank of China, HK Note Printing Ltd., DHL, andAudenarsPiguet.

Those technologies covered include: AS/RS & Conveying System, Automatic Guided Vehicle System,Automatic Mobile and Pallet Racking, Automatic Vertical Carousel System, and Automated Dimensioning System. Dr. Wong received a good reception, and answered several questions from the floor.
