BPS holds groundbreaking ceremony at its biopharmaceutical logistics park in Nanchang, Jiangxi

On 9th March 2013, BPS Global Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Jiangxi Qichen Modern Pharmaceutical Logistics Centre in Nanchang Songhai Pharmaceutical Logistics Centre, BPS’s self-owned logistics park. This marks the beginning of the implementation stage of construction work of Nanchang Songhai Pharmaceutical Logistics Centre.

The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Mr. Winner Wang, Project Manager from BPS. Mr. Wang Zhi Chai, Chairman of Qichen Pharmaceutical Company launched the ceremony and gave a speech. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by representatives from Jiangxi Dasheng Pharmaceutical Company Limited, RenhuaPharmaceutical Co. Ltd, Jingshi Pharmaceutical Company, RenyiPharmaceutical Company Limited, Dasheng Pharmaceutical Logistics Company, ZeerPharmaceutical Technology Company and BPS Jiangxi Pharmaceutical Logistics & Technology Company Limited.

Nanchang Songhai Pharmaceutical Logistics Centre, invested, designed, constructed and operated by BPS Global Group, involves the total investment in excess of RMB 1 billion. Occupying a total land area of about 480 acres and a gross floor area of approximately 428,317 sq.m. (a gross floor area of 279,917 sq.m. for Phase 1 and 148,400 for Phase 2), the Centre is expected to generate RMB 1.75 billion of gross annual output and RMB 76.625 million of annual tax revenue after construction. The park is also expected to create more than 5000 jobs in Songhai, Nanchang.

As one of the key construction program in Jiangxi, the Centre attracted more than ten biopharmaceutical logistics enterprises to set up their business there. Well-planned and operated by BPS, the Centre is believed to be the most important trading platform for the pharmaceutical and logistics industry in Jiangxi.
