"Dot 2 Dot", a Hong Kong art film sponsored by Hong Kong Arts Development Council, invested by BPS Global Group, directed by the emerging filmmaker, Wong Ho-yin Amos, featuring a famous actor, Chan Ho Moses, began filming in early September, 2013. This is the first time of the Group to invest in movie production project. The Group wishes to show its support for the local film industry.
"Dot 2 Dot", directed and produced by the new filmmaker Amos Wong and supported by the grant by Hong Kong Arts Development Council, is about a girl (acted by Meng Ting-yi, the leading actress) from Northern China who comes to Hong Kong for teaching Putonghua and starts exploring the surrounding with history of her new city when she determines to find out the local boy (acted by Moses Chan, the leading actor) behind who draws some mysterious dot to dot drawing outside every subway stations. The cast also includes film stars Siu Yam-yam, Susan and Lam Chi-chung.
The film is one of the Selected Project of the Golden Horse Film Project Promotion 2012. It was also awarded for "Most Promising in Commerical Value" by the Film Market Project Pitches of the 3rd Beijing International Film Festival. "Dot 2 Dot" will be released in the coming year distributed by Golden Scene. Stay tuned for special film events organized by BPS coming soon!
