Occupational Safety and Health Training Session

On 13 March, an educational occupational safety and health training session was carried out by Labour Department exclusively for the staffs of BPS Global Group. The session was divided into two main parts: major safety regulations related to accident prevention in office work and legal requirements on manual handling operations. Throughout the session, the tutor went into details about occupational safety and health related issues in various aspects, including the definition, precautions and relevant ordinances along with illustrations of simulated cases. After the informative training session, BPS staffs reckoned that the activity helps to promote awareness of occupational safety and health related issues, and at the same time encourages staffs to take proper precautions in office working environment.

Occupational safety and health takes an essential role in delivering a pleasant working environment in the office. The BPS Global Group spares no effort to ensure that all staffs can work in a safe environment. In 2017, BPS Global Group attained OHSAS 18001: 2007 certification, which is a widely recognized and popular British Standard for occupational health and safety management system.
