Happy Sunday Home Visit New Immigrant Families - Joining Hands to Create a Harmonious Community in Hong Kong

On 11th September, BPS Global staff joined Happy Sunday which is a home-visit voluntary event to the new immigrant families living in Sheung Shui, co-organized by Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and New Home Association - New Territories East Service Centre.

The volunteer staff were arranged to visit the families separately in small groups along with the organizer's representatives. They started with a bit of chitchat about the children as salutation. Later on through some deeper conversation, the staff got to understand that there are many difficulties encountered by new immigrant families such as language barrier, limited job choices and faulty adaptation to new environment etc. Meanwhile, to show love and cares, gift packs with basic necessities were prepared to distribute to the families.
