BPS Global Fulfills Corporate Social Responsibility by Energy Conservation

Modern society consumes energy heavily every single day and the prosperous Hong Kong’s annual carbon dioxide emission exceeds 42 million tonnes. Admittedly the only solution to combat climate change is energy conservation.

Aware of our social responsibility in energy conservation, BPS Global joined the Power Smart Energy Saving Contest 2015 organized by Friends of the Earth (HK), which aims to reduce damages to the environment and provide a greener living place for our future generations by reducing energy demand. The Group won the Progress Award by achieving an overall reduction of at least 2% in electricity consumption during the contest period as compared to the same period last year.

Since 2006, the contest has accumulatively saved around 220 million kWh of electricity and 156,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emission in Hong Kong since its launch in 2006.
