BPS Global has always valued the nurture of young engineers for we understand their importance towards sustainable development of the industry; thus, we recruit outstanding graduate engineers every year. The Group has been approved for the Logistics and Transportation Engineering Discipline under the “Engineering Graduate Training Scheme “A” programme” by the Hong Kong Institutions of Engineers (HKIE) early in 2014 and offers attractive package as well as professional training for graduates to have better knowledge about the industry and a clearer picture of their career paths.
This year, 2 Logistics Engineering graduates from HKUST were employed as graduate engineers by the Consulting Department. During the 2-year systematic training, they will be able to acquire professional knowledge in various aspects such as supply chain optimization, resource integration, and logistics planning, design, modification and implementation. Also, an experienced engineering supervisor and a training tutor will be allocated to each graduate engineer to help the graduate gain hands-on working experience and develop innovative skills, paving the way for their future career in logistics engineering.
“Engineering Graduate Training Scheme “A” programme” enables engineering graduates to apply theories learnt into practice by engaging in work. Graduates have to work in approved companies for 2-3 years and participate in activities arranged by Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for an average of 45 hours every year. Undertaking the cultivation of logistics engineering professionals as our own responsibility, BPS Global constantly helps the younger generation accumulate diversified working experiences and fully supports Scheme “A” graduates in getting professional qualifications.
