Project background

BPS Global Group was commissioned by Hong Kong Note Printing to undertake the design & build, project management for Automatic Storage System Setup.

 

Project Challenges

• Provide a cost effective and operationally efficient system to maximize the storage capacity;
• The proposed system will have to meet the security and safety requirements;
• Completeall the work alongside with normal production activities;
• As the vault door openings are relatively small, the delivered parts must be tailored to fit in.

 

Scope of work

BPS participated in design and construction of the Vault Storage System at HKNPL. The vault is designed to store pallets of bank note. Due to high demand on daily throughput and storage capacity, an automatic storage system solution was proposed.

Project results and benefits

The project has been completed within the scheduled timeframe and with excellent attention to detail and quality. The project was completed alongside with normal production activities and maximized the storage capacity.
